I moved into AMLI Marina Del Rey in May 2025, paying $7,350/month for what is advertised as “luxury living.” Instead, I’ve been subjected to nightly 1:30 AM commercial truck deliveries directly beneath my unit for The Hive coffee shop located in the complex. The trucks are large (24–26 feet), use lift gates, reversing alarms, and bright flashing lights that shine into my bedroom. These deliveries last 30–60 minutes and occur seven nights per week. I moved here from another country and was really happy to have found a place at the AMLI. I worked with a coordinator who helped set up viewings at many places in the marina and right off the bat he said he loved how AMLI was proactive in setting up the appointment and following up. That attitude continued throughout the process and Glenda, who is an amazing Leasing Agent and Go Getter, was the right person for me. I’ve been living at AMLI for about a year, and unfortunately my experience has been mostly negative, despite a few positives. Pros: The territory itself is nice and well maintained. The pool and jacuzzi are actually a plus and are usually available without being overcrowded, which is great. Cons: Security is a serious concern. Over the course of one year, the package room was broken into twice, and there was also an armed robbery incident involving residents. This makes it very hard to feel safe living here. Ihad a lot of issues with my unit when I first moved in in 2024 but the staff @Amli patiently and kindly helped me through the countless issues I had. Their professionalism really shines in their conversations with me and in my many emails to them. I want to thank Vanessa, Anthony, Jeremy and Glenda. I’m renewing my lease this year so I guess that speaks for itself! Thank you!

Fraud. I rented in June 2025, a place to stay a few days a week, take care of my health and relax. No internet the first month, it is my job to call Gigstreem and arrange to have the wires repairs. No mention of charges, then a notice weeks later on new leases and renewals internet will be $75 a month. I was retroactively billed $75 a month and charged that the full time, then double billed another $75 a month for internet out of my security deposit when I moved out.
