Just received a notice from Otter that rates are going up over 25%, for a unit that has NO security on site. They evicted all of their RV storage, and now don't have the money to build the new 'rows of indoor storage'. What idiots cut their income by half, then raise the rates on everyone else, since they lost 1/2 of their income? Must have been Wharton Business school grads- Actually, I doubt that they graduated 6th grade. Just stay away. The facility is run-down and poorly managed. It's difficult to reach them and we've had 3 rate increases in 3 years for totaling more than 45%. The worst part is they are charging us MORE than the price they advertise online for the same size space. When I called them, they tried to explain that I should pay more than the prices they advertise online because I've been there 3 years! What??!! I have had my storage unit at this place since January 2023 and our rent started at $59 per month for a 10x20' unit. While the facility is clean on the outside, they have a TON of mice, which I believe is normal for a storage, so every time we go out there, we leave our offerings (stack of DECON wafers) for them, and the next time we go out, the pile is gone. Awful!! Horrible!!! We had a lovely facility, that was secure, with working gates and access pads. The staff was friendly and we had storage doors that stayed up. Sadly, the owners sold first to Cube Smart and the facility began going down hill. Nothing though compared to when Otter bought the facility and took over management. The first thing they did was remove an attendant from the area. Yep, they did that, but it gets better. They neglected to replace the light bulbs in the lighting down the rows of the outdoor units. This is a horrible company to work with. They won't reimburse money that is owed to us. We pulled our camper out of that run down storage lot. Manager Mike is a liar I don't know how he sleeps at night being that dishonest. They have since changed their name to honeybee. still the same terrible company.

Poor communication, Nobody on site. One gate has been broken for months and often the other gate is wide open. This past weekend a bunch of campers got their batteries stolen....

Their takeover did not go well. Rent raised immediately. I went from 110 to 145. They wanted a copy of my license but did not ask for , instead revoked my code with a message of "please see manager". Mind you they are contactless with no manager on site. Therefore I could not get access to my RV. THEN the gate was down for over a week. (With only one working gate.) Now that I got my RV out. I will NOT be returning.

Otter just took over Cubesmart at this location. Within 30 days sent letters raising rent. I pay $122 for the smallest spot. The place is in disrepair There are weeds growing that are bad for mice and they get into your RV or boat. They allow junk to be stored here, leaking fluids etc Large construction trucks..seems shady.. Rock on ground has not been replaced so there are deep trenches forming. No dump station.
