Today is November 7, 2024 and I moved from Kingstree, SC to Rock Hill to start fresh. I rented a storage early this morning and when I tell you I was NOT SATISFIED! I would rate this place zero stars because WHAT IN THE WORLD! I’ve never had a storage that looks and smells like this! I literally spent my last on this storage thinking it was going to be nice. Horrible experience!!! Code would not work. Some people behind the building sleeping in their car told me to use the zip code which worked. Went into building and there was a bad odor. On 2nd trip in when I stepped on the carpet the water went up over my sandal. We grabbed the cardboard boxes off the wet carpet and left! Refund went to morning star a 1/4 mile the road and so worth the extra $7 a month.
Been here for years when it was Stateline storage since MyPlace took over rate increased twice within a year and forces to add insurance gave me good reason to move out. Not worth the money.
Michelle Nelson called me to ask for auto payment but I been reporting to her by phone and email the gate is broken and open two weeks ago and she just told me that she was working on the issue but still wide open, she only wants your money but she doesn’t care about security. Looking for other places with more security.
Set up was incredibly easy. Customer Service is top notch! The unit didn't have a lock as promised. I called and left a message..response was within minutes and issue was resolved! So far I am really impressed across the board!
