Crista, the on-site manager, was very patient and explained all my options for renewing and moving to my two new storage units. After her work hours, she stopped by my unit to see if I needed any help moving my two units knowing that I was going on vacation the next day. I appreciate her attention to detail and the personal assistance she gave. Very positive experience.

Beware before renting here. If you’re placed in a top unit, be aware that it is not covered, and your belongings are left exposed. On top of that, management is unreliable and unprofessional. There are days when no one is available on-site, or the manager is out taking smoke breaks, leaving customers without assistance. When I raised concerns, the manager was condescending and rude instead of helpful. The bathrooms are filthy and unsanitary—feces in the toilet, urine on the floor, and no proper cleaning. I’ve been with Self Storage (SS) for almost 2 years, and I have to say Krista (Industrial Park Road location) is the only CSR, so far, who knows procedure and policy! I was behind on payments and my storage unit almost went to auction. Krista explained what exactly I needed to do. She answered my questions via email and phone quickly! I called ahead and was told there was availability for ground-level storage in the 10x15 size. But when I got there, the price was completely different from what I was told. The staff was not helpful at all—there was poor communication, and no one took the time to explain the unit sizes or help me understand what might work best for my needs. Update: Attempted to contact…again a couple of weeks ago per the owners response and still radio silence. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB because what on Earth is happening here? Who is running this place? I should not have to pay more than what I originally called in to pay, which of course suddenly payments can’t be done over the phone…but then i’m given another number to call which wasn’t even for the business.
