I had my belongings stored here for about two months. Do not use the disc locks that this facility provides! My storage unit was broken into and a TV and other electronics were stolen. When I called to complain I never received a response. I am now realized the extent of the theft after moving and unpacking my belongings. The insurance is useless in instances where a skilled thief picks the lock as the insurance only accepts claims where "forced entry" can be proven. I definitely do not recommend this place to store your goods. I’ve been here for years, and there was an ownership change about a year ago that has caused the quality of service here to decline significantly. There are gnats because the place isn’t clean. Every time I visit my unit, there is trash in the common spaces. Today I noted the stairwell smells like urine, there’s no inspection certificate for the elevator, an open bag of trash was sitting in the walkway with gnats flying all around it, and the security gate isn’t ... read more
I regret using this place for storage. They do not send me billing statements via email, they do not provide a way to view them online, and after a year of being a customer I have to call them every time I go to pay my bill to review charges, and I can barely get anyone on the phone. The people who work there are helpful and great if you can get them on the phone, or when you see them in person, but the overall administration of this company is horrible. Tra at Self Storage Plus was incredibly helpful and professional. She made the process quick and easy and answered all my questions with patience. Great customer service!
Do not use. Elevators are shut off outside office hours (so all day Sunday). Dollys are unavailable unless someone is in the office, which is rare even during business hours. Had my rent skyrocket when ownership changed from Public Storage to Self Storage Plus.
