Honestly, out of all the storage units I have ever had… this one should offer their units for free. It’s almost funny how horrible they are. So the gate closes at 10pm. As in, you won’t be leaving unless you’re out of there by 10pm lol. Try calling them. If they get “irritated” by you for inconveniencing them with a phone call - they’ll literally just hang up for no reason haha. And call back. They won’t even care at all. Look at a different place to store your stuff. Security cameras do not work here, their system is old, property is run down. Your stuff isn’t safe, I had a $10,000 dollar four wheeler stolen out of my unit. My lock wasn’t cut, the latch to the unit was cut off and my unit was was left wide open for days for anyone else to help themselves. I was not notified. I found my unit wide open. In today’s mail, I received yet another notice of a rate increase for the unit I am renting at Self Storage Plus in Gambrills. Along with the significant increase, they are now charging a “convenience fee” of $5.95 per month if you make a payment using their online portal. I have been a long-term tenant at this facility, but am not pleased with the frequent rate increases, as well as the new fee. What a friendly and professional person manning this location.. NIKKI was amazing explaining the options and was ready to refer me to the one of their locations if needed ... she found a unit where i needed it and the paper work was done and signed. What an asset to this company. Thank you again Nikki!!!!
Nikki is the greatest. She is very polite and patient and accommodating to all of my questions and needs. I am very happy with the facility and please with the cleanliness that self storage plus has provided me. Thank you and highly recommended
