At 9:05pm the gate was closed when it’s supposed to be open till 10pm. Another vehicle was waiting outside confused as well. Due to freezing temperatures we went to remove our chemicals so they don’t get ruined but we weren’t able to do that. No emergency phone number. We aquired a $600 loss due to that. I see now a negative review from 2 weeks ago where someone was in the same situation and it says that they haven’t adjusted the time of the barrier with the daylight saving time. I stored my items for two months. Upon moving out, my movers noticed there were mice droppings on my stuff. After I moved out, I gave notice on the day next month’s payment was due. I looked through the contractual obligation and found I could do this. However, I received a notice from Antoine that this was unacceptable. I moved into my storage unit in June 2025, paying $160 per month. After just six months, I received a notice that my rent would increase to $248 per month — a more than 50% increase. I called to discuss this with the manager and was told they were within their rights to raise the price. Even after pointing out how unreasonable that jump was, I was told nothing could be done. Don’t do automated payments! Make sure they give you a document stating that you are moving out. They are going to charge one more month of rent from you after you move out. I called 2 weeks in advance to let them know that I was going to move out. I gave them a date and the lady that I spoke assured me that I was not going to be charge anymore.
