I loved securing a storage unit recently! Paul was amazing, so helpful and genuinely just a nice guy! He explained everything so thoroughly, made the entire process so simple. The location is so clean, the storage units are so clean, and everything is so secure. I felt so safe on the property as well. We've had storage units at other places, but being here felt like an extension of my own garage. It seemed like I belonged there, not just going into some cold dark hallway of doors.

We have had a storage unit here for a couple of years. It is always clean, easy to access, well-lit, and very convenient. I had some inquiries about my options recently and after talking to the person on the phone and getting my answers, management later called me directly to follow up. I currently have a storage space elsewhere but after a second rent increase in SIX MONTHS, I decided I am moving my things. I actually had an appointment nearby at another storage facility, but when I went by to check it out, I was really disappointed. It smelled like mold among other things. We needed to find a storage unit as were downsizing and I found A-1 self storage based on a google search for Torrance area. I reserved a 5x5 online and when I went in Paul helped us tremendously on what size space would work for the household items we were looking to store. Thankfully we were able to change to the next size up which will accommodate our stuff perfectly. Paul was really nice and knowledgeable about the units and the location is very clean and easily accessible.

Ask for Paul. I have nothing but great things to say about this location. The cleanliness of the grounds and units, the friendliness of the staff, and even the prices are great! I had a wonderful experience that started with an online search, an in person query and checking out of the facilities, to the cordial follow up, holding the unit for me while I coordinated other logistics, to signing the paperwork. I was very pleased with the service we received here. We have been looking for a storage unit and did not know where to begin. Gerardo was a huge help over the phone and in person when we were trying determine the right size and understand the different amenities. Great location. Almost a 20 yr. customer. Always secure and clean. I was located on the 3rd floor. Never had problems accessing my unit. Elevators clear, carts available and motion censored lights. The staff were approachable and nice. Closed the unit to prepare for retirement.

We have rented storage units here in the past and are here again. This place is very clean and easily accessible. Plenty of carts to use for transporting stuff within the facilities. No trash or dump available there, though. The front desk staff, Gerardo and/or Ashley are very friendly, helpful and professional. Best storage facility in the South Bay!
