My husband and I rented a storage unit yesterday. Marisol helped us through the process. She was very professional and friendly. She made the entire process so easy! Everything was as promised! Update on this storage facility. We rented a 10'x15' space from A-1 Self Storage a few months ago. We signed a 1 year contract for this storage unit. In April we received a letter telling us the rent was going up from $126 to $189 a month. My wife called them and ask why and what about the 1 year contract we signed. They said that they could raise the price anytime because it's in the small print of the contract. We trusted this company and felt they were being honest and upfront with us when we first rented. I started renting two storage units here at $250 per unit per month, which was reasonable at the time. However, over the course of my rental, the price has increased every few months. I now pay a total of $790 per month for the same two units. Nothing about my units has changed except the price. If you're considering this place, be prepared for frequent rate hikes that add up quickly, especially if you plan to stay long-term.
