We have used this storage location on and off for the last five years and have been completely satisfied. Very clean and easy to access. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

A-1 Self Storage just saved my butt! Ashley and Brendon were awesome to deal with in our new socially-distant economy. Ashley patiently walked me through everything I needed to acquire a storage unit online, then Brendon following up helped me with on-boarding over the phone since I couldn't make it in during business hours. Be aware that when you rent a space the company will increase your rent on a regular basis. Our unit was rented to us in 2016 for $190, we just emptied it and we were paying $350. We understand inflation but this was ridiculous. And... when we emptied our unit earlier this month, there were 4 matching dining chairs missing, among other items. These items were stored right near the space opening. We had not been in our unit for over a year and had no idea someone was able to access our A-1 mandatory locking system and steal p... read more

We understand how disheartening a loss can be, Cheri. As Sarah explained when you called last week, we encourage you to contact the police department to file a report. We will work with the police fully during their investigation. I would like to clarify that we do not have a master key, and the only set of keys to the lock are given to you at the time of purchase. Once you have filed the police report, we'll be happy to work with the authorities to bring closure to this matter.
I have been a tenant for 3 yrs and I am very happy here with my unit. It's very clean and super nice staff!

Can I give zero stars? I rented this unit for my 88 y/o mother so she could dispose of her lifetime items when she moved into care housing. The company slapped a $10 Month "insurance" charge onto her account without notifying her. That is a whopping $120 a year involuntary insurance charge for old furniture and mementos!!!! All for junk that fits in a tiny 5x8 unit. Rates are raised about every six months...I'm reviewing all records now and anticipate taking them to court for fraud-find some place else more reputable

This is a great choice for your storage facility needs in South County! It's affordable, safe, clean, and Kathleen really runs the facility well and with attention to detail. She was super flexible with all of my requests and needs, and very responsive to questions. I had my stuff here for a year and I am lucky to have had such a conveniently located place to keep it all while I looked for a new home.

Would not recommend. They get you in with reasonable prices but raise rates by significant amounts every year with zero added benefits or perks. I'm paying almost twice the rate I started at! Finding new storage!
