After having a XLarge Drive-up Unit Price Self Storage Since 2102 next door to A-1 Self Storage and having Price Self Storage Gardners Blow Outside Greasy Black Dirt blown into our Drive-Up Unit we were very disappointed to say the least... Price Self Storage wouldn't even assume responsibility to clean what they had gotten filthy... It was awful and on everything! We had a unit here for the last year and the staff has always been very helpful. Kathleen (the manager) is very personable and friendly. The units are very clean and the security of the location is thorough. I only give it 4stars due to the fact that the rent did raise, but it seems like they are just figuring out their market as they are a fairly new facility in a high volume area. Overall i would recommend location for the price.

Very annoyed with A1 Storage! I have been with them for about 10 months now and rent has increased 2 times already. The first increase was only $10 so I wasn't that upset about it but the second increase is $40 and that is just ridiculous! You would think they would want to keep their customers but clearly they are banking on people not wanting to bother with moving their things out and just paying whatever they're told. I am very disappointed with A-1. I have only been a customer of theirs for about 6 months and since starting they have had rent increases twice. The price increments have been substantial each time; I am now paying nearly double as to what I started with. The facilities are very secure, clean, and the staff very helpful, but be prepared if you are going to store your things here because most likely your bill will be unfortunately increased as well. Time to buy my own permanent storage shed for the money I am paying.

Construction at our home for a few months so we had to put a few rooms in storage. Staff was very helpful in picking out a perfect size unit for what we need. Also, they were cheaper then 4 other places we called in the local area. Thanks again to the A1 Storage staff you were very helpful

I cannot say enough about the positive experience I have had at a1 self storage SJC. It is one exit from my home, therefore very convenient. However, there are several competitors slightly closer, but I initially chose this location because I was very dissatisfied with the storage I was renting from for over a year. We moved into a1 opening day June 2014. This storage facility is awesome! Kathleen and Billy were so professional, helpful and accommodating when we moved in. They let us borrow the truck for free! Billy even helped me when I hurt my foot moving in. The facility is brand new.....clean, secure, cool and even pipes in music. The hours allow you to come by on weekdays without having to take the day off to do it and it is conveniently right off the 5 FWY. I highly recommend this storage to everyone! Nelda - Laguna Niguel

A-1 is THE BEST!!! I have had several storage units at different facilities all around the area. No place has come near to the quality of service and convenience of access of A-1! I have rented two different units from them and both times I was shocked to find out how little I was paying for the first month. I have used their moving truck several times (at no cost). WOW! All I can say is I moved from a storage place where they had no people skills what so ever. I love this place, I especially am so happy with Kathleen! :) She made this move so easy for me. They let you borrower there truck for free. The place is immaculate, cool, clean and even has music! I love how secure it is here. I also think the hours are great for the customers! If I know of anyone that needs a storage I would recommend them to come here. Couldn't be happier such a well maintained professional Operation! Andra M.
