We were looking for a storage place ASAP!!!! Well let me tell you this place is awesome!!!! They're customer service is EXCELLENT!!!! We got a storage Saturday and ended up needing another storage...sooo we got another one Sunday. IT'S super easy and fast to get a storage here all they ask for is ID that's it, no deposit, no down payment just simple and straightforward. Used A-1 storage for three years without incident. The initial set up process was seem less. The facilities were ways clean, rodent and bug free. My possessions were safe and secure at this facility. I am giving 4 stars only because in the past two prices did start to go up. But you pay for the convenience and security of storing your belongings.

Corina was very helpful and pleasant when I first went to check out the unit. I also asked if we could see the unit to see if all my stuff would fit in it... The units and grounds we're very clean. I definitely would recommend this place.

My mom has had a storage unit with A1 for more than 4 years now. Because we know everything is safe with this company we have not visited. Just recently Darlene helped my mother to ensure her space was safe and save on the additional insurance fees. Darlene was professional, kind, and helpful. We appreciate her business so very much. Definitely a valued member of the staff.

The fact that there are no available carts like other places is a huge negative and very inconvenient. This place appears to be packed with handymen basically working out of the storage units here. Customer service? There is none after hours, so no one to get help from. So annoying. Instead of moving my stuff I'm here complaining in yelp. Very bad experience. Note to management: put more carts out!

This was my first time using a storage unit. I used a 10x5 unit for all my belongings during en extended period of time (8 months while I was deployed) fit two bedrooms of furniture (couch, nightstands, large dresser, queen bed, dining room set, coffee table, tv, appliances) and all my clothes /etc (15 large boxes). It was the first time I've ever used self storage. they actually put me in a unit closers to the entrance so I wouldn't have to go soo far with my belongings. showed me where I could find the dolly and offered to help store my belongings if one wasn't available!!!!

I have had several storage units at this facility because it was close to the University of San Diego and I was generally pressed for time. The staff was nice enough at first, although there is always a sign for "deals" out front, and when I asked about them they told me they did not have any deals happening at the time. When I went to move my belongings out of the unit I asked if they had any dumpster or trash on site and they told me no.
