Storage space was nice and convenient, but when I went to cancel and remove my stuff, they refused to refund the remainder of the rent that I had prepaid for. I found that odd, and unprofessional, so I would not store my items with them again.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Carlton. We ask our customers to give us notice of a move-out date prior to the date of your next payment, so that we can charge only for the days being used. Great storage center and really easy to get to. We had a 10x15 locker and it was perfect during our move to store items while we showed our house. Easy to pull up any types of moving trucks too and the carts around are heplful (although some a little shabby). Highly recommend!
Great place to store your items. Friendly staff, highly recommend and situated in a safe neighborhood. Their lift comes in handy when you have your storage space on the second floor.
Opened a storage this past Sunday. The girl at the front desk was very nice and pleasant. She showed me a couple of units and I picked the 2nd smallest size. The units are clean and the lifts and dolly's work properly. Overall the place seems very clean and well maintained. A relative of mine has had her storage here for about 5 years and has had a good experience with them as well.
I'd like to give a BIG shout out and "Thank You" to Patty and Alona at A-1 for helping me get a storage unit, making the process seamless, and working with me during last minute changes I needed to make. I recently conducted a military coast to coast move from VA to CA. When I quickly realized that my new CA residence would not hold all of my stuff from VA, I needed to rent a self-storage Unit fast prior to the delivery of my Household Goods. This place has been problem free thus far. Clean facility and staff are friendly. There are push carts in the elevators to help with loading and unloading your stuff. The dumpsters are always full and it seems people throw away a lot of oversized garbage.
So far, I have nothing but good to say about this company. Currently I have another storage space at Public Storage but I hope to move everything into A-1 soon. That's because I can't get out of Public Storage fast enough. A-1 lets me pro rate when I pay my bill. Just like all my other creditors from T-Mobile etc. But I end up paying a late fee every month with PS because they don't have that option.
