This A-1 Self Storage was top notch. It was very clean and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Reserving a unit was easy and fast as well as closing out the unit. I found their prices to be very competitive. I have recommended them to several people and will continue to do so. Way to go A-1. If I ever need another storage unit, you will be my first choice. Thanks!

Prices were cheap in the beginning when I first signed up and received first month free but then A-1 self storage raises the prices a significant amount after a few months with no explanation. I've tried to switch to a smaller unit to save some money but because I've been an existing customer for over 4 years the customer service employee at the front desk said the internet rates to not apply to me, only new customers are honored with internet rates with no disclosure on the website. The facility is nice and clean, however they bait and switch with the prices. When I signed up I was quoted a price of $165/month (which is why I signed up). We were told the first month was free, but we needed to do a deposit. Still paid $200 when moving in. After 3 months our rate doubled with $330 (This price was not quoted anywhere on the website). Yesterday I got a call from the Area Manager for A-1 Self Storage because of my low YELP review. What he shared with me improved my rating. He told me A-1 had resisted the trend to have lower advertised (teaser) rates based on increasing the rate in the first few months. Ultimately, they could see they needed to reluctantly join that trend or continue to lose new customers to their competitors who used this tactic. Lady at front desk was rude the storage wasn't even up to the measurement. When you pay for a certain size storage you expect it to be that size correct. When question about it the answer that I was given was if you don't like it we can refund your money and you can go someplace else. When asked if I could get a different storage they said it'll cost more. If a person doesn't like their job then they shouldn't work that job she apparently doesn't like her job. Our pricing is not based on square-foot measurements, but rather on features and amenities, which is why another unit would have been a different price.
Clean and very friendly staff, they also were patient and helpful when answering a few questions and concerns we had. We definitely recommend this location.
