I was going through a really difficult move, reflecting back I gotta say that my experience at A1 Storage was the only thing that was an easy positive experience. Shot out to Patricia who assisted me, keeping it professional and swift while displaying compassion for me and my situation. She knew the business and helped me effectively. Ty for being so pleasant and kind. I will also add the pricing is cheap here. Competitors are charging twice as much. Thanks Al Storage and staff

A-1 Storage on Monterey Ave in San Jose is the BEST!!!! They have been my provider for over a year and are ALWAYS so courteous, helpful and respectful! They are also extremely clean and I never worry that my belongings are safe and kept in good condition! They are by far the best and they are AFFORDABLE!! Brenda Post
This is the best storage facility in San Jose! I rented 3 units from them for over a year, and never had any concerns. The facility is safe, the grounds are clean, and all of the staff are awesome! (Especially Adam & Maggie) Although I no longer have a need for storage, if I was ever to rent again, this is the only facility I would rent from!
Beware of A-1 Self Storage! Customer service is poor as they will promise you a reasonable rate for a storage unit which will quickly increase nearly 50%. When I questioned A-1 regarding the huge increase in a matter of weeks of moving in, I was told that A-1 has the right to increase rates as they are "month-to-month." There are plenty of other storage places nearby for far cheaper and with much better customer service.
The customer service was terrible. Very rude lady at the front desk said customers me down we have space. Then didn't have the right space.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to Joanna for the great customer service I received! I was in the process of looking for a storage unit after moving and she was super friendly, patient and helpful with all of the questions that I had as a first time renter. The storage facility was clean and very affordable compared to others that I considered as well. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely recommend this A1 location to anybody I know looking for a storage unit. Thanks again, Joanna!

I walked in needing a unit, the manager there was very nice and the assistant manager was very helpful. They not only made me feel welcome but encouraged me to check out different sizes based on my needs. I was expecting a common interaction but the 2 associates who helped me made my experience very pleasant. Ive rented storage units multiple times at the public storages near by and haven't always had the best experiences, I decided to try a-1 and it was a great decision! I highly recommend this store.
