When I first called for pricing I was already frustrated with previous companies I had spoken with. When the manager answered the phone here she was professional and friendly and really helped me through the process. When I arrived at the store it was very clean and well kept as was the rest of the property. The manager, Kim, was continually helpful and knowledgeable about her store and made me feel at ease about my decision. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to store their most prized possessions!!!

multiple rate hikes since I've been here and now late fees increase to $20 from $10. Management is inept, unhelpful. Act like they don't need your business here. Just switched to Morena Storage down the street for about half the rate and comes with free truck for loading/unloading.

Really professional and well kept. I have never stored anything and we have some nice new furniture that we want to keep clean for our new house. When we arrived everything was above what I had expected which is a great feeling of peace to leave our items! Great security and lighting. Easy to use systems, Brian and Elizabeth are great they even have a lock demo to make it easy to learn using the lock for the sliding doors. Geesh, moving is such a pain especially when you are old and creaky. I've never rented a storage unit before and was rather intimidated to do so, and confused, but realized I needed one. As others have said, Elizabeth is a gem and really made the process smooth as silk. I called A-1 on a Friday afternoon and spoke with someone who sounded very knowledgeable. I'm giving A1 storage 5 stars because of the manager, Elizabeth. I encountered her on multiple occasions when I had to move from one unit to another. She was patient and understanding when she could have just showed me the door (literally). If I ever move back to San Diego and need to store my belongings when I deploy, I know there's no hesitation when I say it's at A1 on Morena.

Needed a small closet to store my extra "stuff" recently and went with another company as it was cheaper and closer to home. Didn't take me long to figure out that their storage was insecure, their business practices sketchy, and their staff condescending. Checked out A1 storage and there were several options near by Went over and looked at the one on Morena and was assisted by the lovely Elizabeth. First time I had to store my belongings and Elizabeth made it all so easy. On the day I was moving my things out of storage....things didn't go as planned but Elizabeth came to the rescue with plan B and everything worked out.
