Wow! This A-1 Self Storage really does things right. I needed a short term storage rental and both the Manager Steve and Assistant Ken were both gracious and helpful to find the ideal space. I was treated with kindness and respect and they made the process comfortable and welcome. The facility is well maintained and clean. Most of all it is highly secure. Two months after getting the storage unit and going on deployment and they already raise the rates. I DO NOT RECOMMEND for military. Have no choice to move somewhere else so now we get to wait and see how much it goes up over the next couple of months. Super fun.

OMG, Lydia was amazing to work with!! She was so patient, professional, and informative. Walked me around from unit to unit (more than once) while I called my family on FaceTime to help select my storage unit. She also helped me out in my juggling act holding various units and arranging my payments to start on my move-in date. And she even ensured I got a discount! I have rented storage unit at A1 storage on Pacific Highway since July 2023 and not even 6 months into contract they are raising rates 10% Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

Thank you for your feedback, Carol. We, like most storage companies, move in customers at discounted rates. We, therefore, review those rates at 5-6 months and sometimes make adjustments accordingly. We then review rates again after another 12 months and evaluate market conditions and pricing.
It was very clean and secure. The staff was super nice. I would rent a unit there again if I ever have a need in the future.
I have had 2 10X10 units here since Aug 2020. I Just received notice of a 10% increase for one of them. I suspect another will be coming shortly for the other. I'm not allowed to raise the rent on tentants in my rental property during the year but these guys can do it within a few months. What the hell? I am NOT happy about an increase so soon after renting and will be looking for alternative options ASAP.

A-1 Self Storage in little Italy is amazing! Customer service was always the best for the seven months I stored my stuff there. I highly recommend to anybody especially to military due to the 10% military discount
