I was very impressed with both the facility and staff at this location. The building itself is brand new and this location offers unique storage options like auto storage. My single complaint is that only a small percentage of units are climate controlled, leaving me a bit concerned during prime summer months. I was set up with a unit in a matter of minutes by a really helpful young man who was detailed and easy to speak with-- I left feeling very confident about my decision to store my valuable items at A1. Wow! The service at A1 storage on pacific hiway is amazing, Emma and Fransisco really go out of their way to help customers, they were able to give me the perfect spaces in the garage. They are so kind with great attitudes. Thank you! Gerard

i have been using this facility for my commercial storage for about a year now.. moved from another downtown location because of the homeless presence at the previous one.. it was just to much to feel safe when i would go alone... there is a homeless presence here but it is hardly noticeable.. this A-1 is the bomb pretty much.. they have secure entry and exit ways.. they have cameras everywhere... its clean... they never give me a hard time when i leave an empty box down in the underground parking and the office staff are su... read more

I had a great experience at this location off of PCH and Hawthorne. Francisco was of great help! I called in last minute to get a unit and they were able to accommodate to my needs. Very friendly, showed me around the grounds and to my unit. I would highly recommend using A-1 Storage especially at this location!

Highly recommended! Everyone with whom I've had contact has been extremely nice, professional and provided a top-notch level of customer service. As I was abroad when I began making arrangements for a household shipment to arrive, all of the folks at A-1 went out of their way to be accommodating to the fluidity of the shipment's arrival date and were more than fair at giving me some wiggle room with reservations and suchlike. In the past 4 years, I've moved six times, so I've seen my fair share of self-storage companies. With that said, this A-1 location (2235 Pacific Highway) is by far the best one that I've ever used. I left on a military deployment last year on short notice, and the staff helped me to get a parking space for my truck and a storage unit on about 3 days notice, which really helped me out. I had the best experience at this location! Everyone was so nice, I was able to see a couple different units before I chose one to rent, and the facility is extremely clean! The staff had wonderful customer service and I love the fact that I can have my boxes from work shipped to my unit and the staff will put the boxes in my unit for me.

I have rented several storage units at A1 through the past seven years at this location. I have also referred many clients. They have an exceptionally clean facility and a nice, professional staff.
