This is one of the cleanest, well-maintained storage place I've ever used. Lots of covered pkg spots available. They have moving flat carts for use. The office is well-stocked with moving supplies & the staff is friendly. Highly recommend.

Great staff and great storage. Not only have I been a repeat customer, but the last unit I rented I had to do on the fly deployed overseas. A-1 sent me the pertinent documents I needed to sign to give a buddy permission to access the purchased unit and move my goods into. All before the day of. I'll continue to be a customer as long as this type of service continues!

Every single member at this location treated me very kindly and seemed to sincerely care that I had an important flight to catch. I was stressed out and worried I was going to miss my flight but the staff quickly got the paper work filled out with myself while simultaneously examining my vehicle. My car is stored here for a couple of months. The A-1 people were friendly and helpful and made it very easy for me to reserve the storage space and drop my car off. I left my car with them with complete confidence that it will be in good shape when I pick it up. I recommend them highly.

This place has great customer service and is clean. Evan was really patient with me while I was trying to decide which unit would work best for my needs. He was able to answer all of my questions with ease and was very friendly. He made filling out the paperwork a breeze. A-1 Self Storage is super clean and the service is great! I got to the office just before they closed (after a very, very long drive with a Uhaul trailer) and a staff member was able to find me a unit close to the elevators and even stayed a few minutes after closing to show me the unit and how to use the pass codes. I would definitely recommend A-1 Self Storage to anyone! The only thing that might need adjustment is the elevator. It is very slow. Just an update on the amazing staff at the Pacific Hwy Location. Not to name names, but, at one time or another I've dealt with Kaela, Rey, Emma, Armando and Francisco and I must share their unforgettable and commendable customer service. I've stored my valuable Classic '64, my Chromed out Harley and most recently a few items temporarily while I moved to a new downtown location. My husband and I moved to San Diego a little over a year ago, and chose the most convenient storage near our new condo. It was a great decision! The grounds are clean, the service is impecable! Everytime we have gone into the office, we are treated with the most friendly and efficient staff. They really know what they are doing, and it shows! The BEST storage facility we have ever used. Another seamless rental experience, from reservation to dropping off our car. We actually opted to fly from San Diego to Mazatlan than from LA because of the peace of mind leaving our car at A-1 Storage in a clean and safe environment, at a very modest cost. Wonderful professionalism on the part of every staff individual we had contact with. Wouldn't hesitate to use them at any time the need for storage arises.
