What an amazing experience it has been at A-1. Darlene was very helpful through the whole process and is always on standby if we ever need anything. It can be tough finding the right storage facility in the area that fits your needs but you can put all doubts aside when it comes to this place. I can't thank Darlene enough for always going above and beyond and forgot to mention how clean an secure this place is!

Over the last 15 years, I have rented storage from multiple companies in multiple locations around California, and Darlene at A1 in San Diego Mission Valley is the most personable, concerned, competent manager I've ever encountered. She responds to your needs and actually cares that the customer is taken care of. Easily 5 stars. Best possible storage facility. Neat and clean. Darlene and her staff are the friendliest possible people. I never thought of "storage" being a customer service industry until using their facility the last few years. Cannot recommend this facility enough.
We certainly appreciated the quick service and most helpful staff - Vanessa, Darlene, and Rosa were most supportive from the first time we arrived to moving out. Everything was explained clearly and the rates were reasonable, considering the location, cleanliness of the space and ease of getting in and out. There were plenty of free dollies to use on site, and other small supplies as well to purchase. Easy to recommend - a great move!
I have been a customer of A1 self storage for three years now and I absolutely recommend them! The facility is always clean and tidy and everyone who works there is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The owner knows me by name and unit and always says hello when she sees me. If you're looking for storage in the area definitely check them out!

To me, storage is storage - well it used to be. Then I found Darlene and her team at this location and they've completely blown me away. Top notch service, the place is super clean, and they go above and beyond. We are in the medical supply field so we receive many packages weekly, at this location and they always alert us when they arrive and go out. Highly recommend!

Super easy to get a unit and super easy to vacate the unit. No issues with billing or the actual units themselves. My stuff was safe for the time I rented and I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a good place to store their possessions!
