I rarely write reviews but this place is the worst for customer service. I have been a customer for most likely over 20 years. I am in my 70's and get no discount. On top of that they raise the rates each and every year. This year the increase is again $20.00 a month. That is huge for people on fixed income and those financially affected by COVID. This increase is outrageous. Lastly they advertise that the facility is climate controlled. IT IS NOT. Only the office and the basement have air conditioning. The basement is as it... read more

Great storage place! Super helpful and friendly! Lots of sizes to choose from too. Very clean!
A1 self storage is the place to be. I love how easy it is for me to get in and out. They are flexible with me when i need to push out paents a day or two. They are just overall great people. We can pay online or in the kiosk. Would use them again for sure. A little pricey but worth the penny. The security is on point too. I have two units and forgot to type in one of my codes and was approached by the security. i can rest assured that my stuff is safe.

I rarely write reviews, but wanted to share this great experience about A-1 Self Storage in Lake Forest, CA. When I called around to find out about climate controlled storage options, I was pleasantly surprised when I connected with Ariel who offered up several options with storage choices. I spent 10 minutes with Ariel finding out more about the facility, drove to the facility, and signed up - ALL WITHIN 30 MINUTES! If you're looking for an affordable, secure, and clean self-storage environment, I would highly recommend A-1... read more

I went to A1 storage last week looking for units very indecisive and not knowing what I want or what to get. This is my 1st time moving and needing storage so I'm very uneducated on size and units of storage and I was very frustrated searching for things online to say the least. So I decided to just go in and speak with someone directly. When I walked in I was greeted by a young lady named Jazz. She was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable about what I may need based off of what I told. She was extremely patient with me and h... read more
