Recently relocated from Jacksonville Florida to San Diego CA and had wonderful customer service experience, Gerren was great and would definitely recommed.

My experience here has been wonderful. I feel the price is good for the area and the competition. I love you can use an app to get in and out of the gate. Sometimes it's annoying and doesn't link up but you do get a code as well. The app is nice because you don't have to get out of your car. You can also see your bill and other items. You are only given access to your specific area of storage and i think that is a nice extra layer of protection! I love the experience renting a 5x5 storage unit with A1 storage Rosie was of great help over the telephone assigning me a good unit.

Very bad experience yesterday. Was helping to store our daughters things as she moves for a work assignment and was time sensitive. When I got to A1 yesterday morning and unloaded onto carts, I found a sign that "the the only elevator for the building was out of service, but there are stairs in the back of the building and they are sorry for the inconvenience". Visited 4 different storage places this Saturday. This was our second stop. We ended up coming back to this location because the lady at the front office Pinky was professional, good customer service and had great energy. The place is clean too.

One of the best storage unit locations I've ever used! PROs: The front office is very well-stocked and clean. The staff workers are very respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient at their jobs. Renting a unit is very painless and you can even call before and have it held for free for 24 hours. You will have to buy a cylinder lock if you do not already have one, so prepare yourself they are a little pricey but you can use any standard cylinder lock from any storage unit and it should work. The A-1 Self Storage Facility on Copley is very clean, The manager, Chris, is very nice and on top of things. We did find some silverfish in our boxes after we moved the things we were storing out, but we never saw any other insects or rodents when we were on the premises. There were definitely some homeless people living out of the units or storing their items there though.
