The manager is really horrible and rude. Tried her best to steal my mother in laws money by trying to tell her things that is Mandatory but actually optional. Luckily my mother in law called me up in time and I was able to put a stop to that stupid manager's effort to steal money. She is not even qualified to be a manager there. The other guy was nice and helpful compared to her. Obviously she is doing something somewhere to be in that position and some one needs to put a stop to this.

Rarely would I say a storage facility is exceptional this one absolutely is. It's extremely clean, the staff is nice (always smiling) and heavy security.

I am returning now after using A-1 three years ago to empty my house for a full remodel. I was amazed at how clean this facility is. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. They just did it right from start to finish. I am glad to not have to shop around this time.

I had great experience from the previous A-1 storage I rented in Alhambra and was able to enjoy the personal service with my new rental. Unlike the big franchises - one gets personal service from the start - such as a live person answering a call with immediate/accurate info. Was able to get a tour and and found the property outside, the office, elevator and hallway and particularly the units we're immaculate. The location is easily accessible, the property safe and clean. I did see police there to take a theft report at one point. The main reason I chose this facility was the extended hours access. Recently, they shortened the hours to limit access to 6pm. As a result, it no longer served my purposes so I moved out. That process was painless at least but I was very annoyed with the short notice given when they reduced the hours. The after hours was not staffed, so I fail to see why it was necessary to reduce the hours.

Don't tell anyone, but this place is the best. Courteous, helpful service. CLEAN facility. Secure and easy to access. Quick and pleasant check in with James in the office, too!

Back in 2016, my sister recommended A-1 Self Storage. A few months later, I decided to moved in because of their extended access hours--which is more suitable for my hectic work schedule. I've recommended others too.

I was so stressed about an upcoming move, and was trying to find a storage unit on fairly short notice. Other storage units in the area gave me bad vibes over the phone, and their reviews were a little questionable. I noticed that A-1 Self Storage had pretty much only positive reviews, so took a leap of faith and rented a storage unit out with them. I totally understand now why all the reviews are positive!
