Be forewarned! According to a phone call I had with the staff, this company does not rebate rent if you move out before the end of your month, paid for in advance. In our case they kept about $35 because we moved out with 5 days remaining on our month, despite giving them a month's notice. We didn't know this - they never verbally informed us that they would keep all of our rent. This place raised my rates 3-4 times within the 2 years I rented a 10x10 module. When the time came to clear out, and we had some problems, nobody was very helpful there, although Maria was at least friendly and polite. I'm amending this review several months late because the district manager, Brian Darmas, made a fair effort to try to resolve some of the issues after the review was published on this site, and made sure I got my refund for time not used, which no one had offered us. I just got done renting from A-1 Storage today. After 6 months I have finally been able to move everything out. James sold and closed the unit with me and he is by far one of the best employees at this place. If you need storage come and ask for James. He's a great dude who genuinely cares about those renting units here. I paid $160 per month for a medium unit. It's air conditioned and access hours are all the way till 10pm. Excellent service.

Super friendly, great customer service. Good rates. Move in was super easy. Building is clean. Had a bad experience with another company just trying to reserve a unit and being pressured to move in sooner than I needed. But with A1 after booking online, I could move in the date I wanted with no pressure or hassle with the discount rate and the unit was exactly as advertised. Clean, professional, excellent customer service!! Maria & Russell were a pleasure to work with. The location is excellent and my unit was very clean, easily accessible and very safe. We have used other companies in the past but A1 has the best quality for the price. The price may be a little higher than their competitors but the value is totally worth it!! :)

I have never experienced friendly and courteous staff like I had and A1 self storage in Glendale. Thanx to Maria who was helping me made the process of getting a unit so fast and easy. Thanx again guys

I recently moved my belongings to A1-Storage, and it's been such an unbelievably smooth experience. From the initial phone conversation, the reservation process, the paperwork, and the staff support thusfar, I'm very satisfied and relieved that I picked A1. Maria from the front desk is also super helpful and pleasant. Plus--the place is immaculate.

Excellent customer service!! This was my first time renting a storage unit and surprising it was an easy process.. thanks to James and Maria! They were exceptionally professional and thorough with the entire process. Not only that, they had gone above and beyond for me on moving day. The movers and I were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and were close to arriving after they close.
