I rented a unit here for three months for my belongings after I sold my house and before sending them overseas. The staff were always polite and helpful. The facility is clean and well run.

My experience has been good so far. My only issue I've had was that since I work normal working hours, the times I am there and need a cart, I can't use it. This would have been helpful for people who are either coming there early or late in the evening (which is what I was doing). The facility is clean and well kept. Price is about right, but I don't like the fact that in 6 months, I either have to move my stuff to another unit or pay the rate increase. I do recommend this place, easy to access and the locks are new.

Maribel was so nice and helpful when I went to reserve a storage unit. She was so patient with my unique situation, and offered the best option that suites my needs. I would totally recommend this place to my friends as long as she's there!!

Obviously a nice facility, but prices are high. 5x5 room (essentially half a closet) $106.00 a month!?!? For half a closet; seriously. I told them the price seemed high. They responded with the notion that they were competitive ? The storages across the street is about 30.00 dollars cheaper, with more room. Plus you have to pay mandatory property insurance $10.00. $20.00 admin fee. Lock $9.99. Up front for half closet $140.00!?! I didn't even bother to ask what a whole closet cost. The staff is great, and the location is better than 100% of the other storage places in my hood. It's well lit at night and right across the High Street bridge from Alameda. The facility is clean and well taken care of. There are big heavy duty moving carts you can check out at the desk for free. You can see what spaces are available online. They also have a ATM type machine outside that allows you to rent a space via the machine and a webcam conference call. BEST STORAGE IN THE BAY! I needed to throw my stuff into storage for a year and was worried. Most storage places seem to be a bit "filthy" and unsafe but I have no doubts that my stuff will be in perfect condition when I return. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The units are in a nice, climate controlled area. The units are clean and secure. The units are also armed with an alarm. If you want your stuff safe, check this place out! It is worth a tour to check it out.

Marisol, Ana, and Maribel are awesome! I've gotten to know them as I sold my house and moved its contents to the A1 Storage Unit off high street. 7 months I've had my things there while looking for a new home. I was always in and out with questions galore and they are always patient and kind. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. I've used A1 on two different occasions. Both times were outstanding!! The manager and staff are super friendly, very helpful, and very efficient. The entire facility is kept immaculate and secure. I will probably be needing to store some items again in the very near future and without a doubt, I will use A1. Highly recommended!!!!

This storage facility is great. I like the location a lot and the staff is very efficient and easy to work with. They are very accommodating and have really reasonable rates. The location is very easy to get to and seems very secure.
