One word. Prisma. She made me feel like a queen entering a kingdom when I entered their facility. Clean, informative, funny, the list is endless. Prisma's customer service was beyond spectacular. It was refreshing to see and feel that. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain things to me. I felt completely safe and assured that my belongings will be well taken care of.

We've had a great experience with A1. The units are clean and spacious and well lit. The staff is friendly especially Lataevia. She was a big help to us and got back to us quickly with questions or issues we had.

Prisma was a pleasure to work with. We came in with our 5 year old and she was able to help us quickly and we were able to find a storage that fits our needs and really close to home. Our experience seemed efficient and she was pretty up front about the cost. Plus she has a great sense of humor!

Good security, clean place. Unfortunately that is where the pros end. The units are significantly smaller than advertised (5x8 more like 3x8) but they tell you "size varies by unit" and they nickel and dime you for everything (insurance, special locks, etc). The manager is completely unhelpful and standoffish. I will be leaving this place ASAP.

I have run my small home service company from a unit here at A-1 High St in Oakland for about 15 year. Recently, I needed to change to a larger unit and have to say that Corey, Dena and Rosa are just such a pleasure to work with. They got me another unit right on the waterfront, just 3 units down from where I was, making the move so easy (I love the view here, who knew you could have storage with a water view, it makes coming here daily for work so relaxing). They helped me with the transition, told me the best way to make t... read more

We called ahead of time and was able to reserve a storage space. When we got there a sales representative was helpful and showed us the space before payment and insurance options

I have rented units from A-1 storage at the High St location in Oakland for 4 years. I am moving so I closed my account. Just wanted to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received from the staff there. Corey, the manager, worked with me on my 'moving target' of a timeline of moving out of my house so it could be sold and moving out of state, waiting to buy a house there. Corey and all the staff were extremely friendly, professional and above all I felt safe having my possessions there. Security is tight and I a... read more

Using this storage for a few months for my daughter's dorm room items during summer break. The facility looks secure and very clean. Staff is nice and helpful.

A big THANKS to Dena (site manager) for an excellent rental experience. I am impressed with Dena's genuine interest and quick response to my questions and concerns, the contactless application and Dena's willingness to explain the lock and keypad to me outside (at my request) at an appropriate physical distance. The personal attention and care that Dena offered us during this process is very much appreciated. I can highly recommend this facility.
