Needed this place in a hurry. Super available, clean and safe! The guys at the desk were amazing, helpful and accommodating. I had to get a bigger unit once I was there with the moving truck and was able to upgrade without a problem. It's all key pad to get in and out, including the elevators so you will not find anyone sleeping in the facilities. There are numerous cameras as well. The units inside have good cool airflow and lots of lighting in the hallways. I got my first months free with no obligation of additional time. ... read more

James is very helpful. Facilities are clean and nicer than most. Very secure. The building is not climate controlled per se although I found the first floor to be very cool.

This is a good place to put your things as a student while you take a break from summer. A1 storage has from small storage bins to larger bins. There are also good deals on certain storage rooms.

My friend and I went to A-1 self storage kind of clueless about what to look for. We were greeted by James who right off the bat explained what to look for when finding storage units and the pricing. He was honest and very efficient in showing us the units and made sure we were comfortable with the security. After we chose to continue with the offer, James got our information, made us laugh a little, and even gave us some free boxes after checking in on Yelp. Highly recommended! Thank you to James!

My girlfriend and I are moving to a smaller space and needed a storage so we decided to check this place out. When we arrived we were greeted by James. He was extremely professional and gave us a tour of the facility. He showed several of the units they had and described all the security features in the building. Came to Oakland rd location cause I saw online they had the 5x5 . But they didn't have any available so they sent me to this location. Rebecca sent us to this location cause they have storage size I was looking for. Andrea was welcoming and showed us a couple that were available. The place was very clean and welcoming they also have alarm on each storage unit . After 5 months, increased the cost by $20. I will be careful next time and will be moving out. Front desk folks are awesome. Dissappointed and not even sure if it is ethical that they can randomly increase whenever they want.

This was by far the best experience I have had at a storage facility! Clean and secure near 101. James and Angela were very courteous and answered all my questions. I highly recommended renting here!
